How can I restrict the installation of a Dial-up Network acces even if the
user had administrator rights?

Thanks in advance.

If you're running XP Pro, there is a setting in the Group Policy Editor (GPEDIT.MSC) that make the networking settings apply to Administrators, as well.

User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Network, Network Connections.

Enable Windows 2000 Network Connection settings for Administrators. Of course, this make the settings apply to all Administrator users, including you.

But this is something that can be undone by another administrator.

Yeah.......... When you give someone Admin rights, they have full control over the computer.
