Could someone explain the idea behind the microsoft access database on an
ipaq. I was able to attatch to my database. When I synch'ed it converted it
to the ppc extension. When I try to open it on the ipaq , I receive a
message stating there is no program capable of opening the file.

The Access sync conduit (converting desktop .mdb databases to Pocket
Access .cdb databases) is present for the Handheld PCs, which do come
with Pocket Access installed. There is no Pocket Access for the Pocket
PC. See http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/3358 for a list of possible
database solutions for the Pocket PC. Some will use the .cdb format,
others will use their own format.
