i am running winxp pro sp2 (with ie6.0) as a standalone workstation. i
have set group policies for ie "internet" security zone
[ie>tools>internet options>security>internet]. the group policies,

Computer Configuration\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Internet
Control Panel\Security Page\Internet Zone

User Configuration\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Internet
Control Panel\Security Page\Internet Zone

are both set to same values with almost all group policies "disabled".
however the "Allow active scripting" group policy is set to "not
configured" in both instances which allows javascript to run.

unfortunately group policy settings either for ie or others have
disabled javascript. any assistance is appreciated.

thank you
