I have windows XP home and I created a limited access account in windows so
other people can use my pc and not change any of the config, but when I log
on to the limited access account, I get many many times the ERROR Access
Denied.

The problem is, the error message doesn't specify what programs are trying
to load and are denied. Is there way I can see which programs the limited
access account don't have access to, and grant access to the ones needed?

One method that works (just went through this for my son so his game
would load correctly) is to use a free utility called filemon from
sysinternals
http://www.sysinternals.com/FileAndDiskUtilities.html (Mark has lots of
cool little utilities there). You need to run it as admin, but you can use
"runas" to start it. Look through the listing it is generating and look for
"ACCESS DENIED" or some such. It monitors the OS and will let you
see any/all file accesses.
