Windows 7 Email assistance anyone?

I have 5 different email accounts.

When I read and delete new emails from each separate account, they remain as being 'Unread' in the Quick Views Tab.

I can't believe that I have to read each email twice for it to dissapear, and so I am wondering if anyone knows where the setting is that can change this behavour?

Could anyone also tell me what the 'Storage' folders are for? None of them have anything in them at the moment.

  1. I'm using Thunderbird as my email client with Windows 7, although it is only looking at two accounts. I do not have this problem. Have you tried refreshing your view after reading/deleting the first time?
