How do I get theater mode working with a Mobility Radeon 9200?
I don't have the Theater mode option in the overlay section of my display
settings (I've got a clone mode options button instead). I do have the
option on another laptop with a Mobility Radeon 9700.
I simply want to have the overlay displayed in fullscreen on the second
monitor and have my video played in fullscreen when I launch media player.
What am I supposed to do?
NB: please don't tell me theater mode is not supported on the 9200 :-(

Try removing all the video drivers and installing the Omega drivers
<http://www.omegadrivers.net>. Many laptops come with the video drivers
deliberately crippled for some reason. Alternatively do a fresh OS install
(not from a recovery disk but from a Microsoft distribution disk) and then
install the Omega drivers.

Thanks John for the quick answer.
I was actually tempted to do that but fear that Omega drivers will be unable
to deal with my 1680x1050 screen resolution, which seems very specific to my
laptop LCD.
