Panasonic FZ10 - size of viewfinder image

I played with an FZ10 at Fry's today and noticed something slightly
annoying: the image in the electronic viewfinder is small. I'm not
talking about the number of pixels, or anything to do with the diopter
adjustment. The apparent image size is just small. Maybe half the
size of every other digicam I've tried. This seems peculiar, since
making it the right size would have been just a matter of slightly
different optics.

I read through the online manual and didn't see anything about adjusting
the size.

Any idea what up with that?
