9800 Pro in Cmd Mode

Anyone have any problems running old DOS progs or games in Windows
XP Command Mode with the 9800 Pro? My wife's 9600XT works fine but
my nVidia 6600GT is fuzzy when running the old DOS games in 640x480.
I am thinking of switching it to a 9800 Pro. Comments appreciated!

Would you happen to have a LCD screen whose native resolution is not
640x480? Then the problem might be that the screen is unable to scale
sharply to the resolution requested.

Appreciate the response, but actually I have tried both cards in 2
PCs with LCD displays and the Radeon 9600XT works fine but the
nVidia 6600GT is fuzzy in the DOS emulation. I called tech support
and was told that the newer cards (nVidia) abandoned trying to get
the DOS emulation in Windows XP to function perfectly with their
cards since DOS is obsolete.
That's why I would appreciate a response from someone with a 9800
Pro who runs old favorite DOS games.

I run many using the Doomsday Engine with no problems. Also Quake using
Winquake. Both Winquake and Doomsday allow you to scale your games up to
high resolution, in my case 1280x1024 to match my LCD monitor native
resolution.

The 9800 Pro has been troublesome for me though. Looks like I will be
returning my second one shortly.

Thanks - hope you get a working 9800 Pro. I am thinking of the
Sapphire from Newegg - is that your prob?
