9800 Pro is a lot faster at any resolution. X600 series cards are simply the
9600 family in a new PCIe formfactor. The fastest of the lot is the X600XT
and a straight 9800 Pro will outperform it by 50-80% in games like Doom3 or
FarCry. In synthetic benching the difference is like 40% in favor of the
9800 Pro.
