How to block users from Internet

I was checking in my daughter's temporary internet files and found a lot of
pornography sites. Each member of our family uses the same computer and each
has their own account. I don't want to block internet access from my
daughter, but is there a way I can block those bad sites?

Not easily, but there are some options...Look into NetNanny or other things
like that. There's content filtering available in XP/IE but I'm not sure how
good it is.

Slightly OT, but don't let children use the computer/Internet without direct
supervision. That's the only surefire way to know what they're doing. I have
yet to meet the clever child who could not outwit the best efforts of
parents to block anything....unless said parents work in the IT security
group for a large investment bank, etc.

Get something like NetNanny
http://www.netnanny.com/

Or talk to them about their browsing habits.
Any technology can be suborned if the user is clever enough.

since it's not easy to block it ,try place the pc in the open areas such as
living hall instead of inside bedroom.

If the firewall is enabled with no exceptions, then the source subnet
shouldn't matter? Do you have port exceptions open for some reason?
