Pretty good. This one is even better though as it has 1000:1 contrast
ratio. The one you selected is 700:1. Both are good choices though,
just depends on how fat your wallet is.

Yes, but IF you read some Reviews of the 8msec Response Times monitors you
will see that those quick times were attained at the expense of other
inaccuracies in the set.

Like colors displayed? I've heard of fast response time monitors
achieving the fast times by sacrificing colors diplayed but both these
monitors say they display 16mil colors. Or are you talking about
something else?
I have an older Samsung 171s LCD and a LG Flatron CRT and I notice in
DVD scenes with backlighting that the LCD doesn't dither as well as
the CRT even though it is set to 32bit. Or it could be that the LCD is
running on a Geforce4 and the CRT on an R9800pro?

Viewsonic has been advertising their 19" LCD over here which has a 4ms
response time. They say its the fastest in the world. The model is
VX924. Sorry no link.
Its in the ClearMotiv line of products I think.
