Have just got a Minolta dimage 7i and have read how good this camera
is but my problem is I can't seem to be able to get the camera to
focus properly in either manuel or auto ( my prefered method is
manuel) can someone either explain how to focus here in very simple
english please or list a site that will tell me I have read the
instruction book and will continue to do so till i figure it out a
camera of this quality must be able to focus

regards and tia

Slap Manuel up 'a side of the head!

For the camera, set the spot focusing on. Be sure that you have the upgrades
loaded into the camera.

Poor focusing and slow speed are noted problems with the d-7 series.

Minolta has released several 'firmware' upgrades. Get them and install!
