RCA DRC8295n DVD won't play but once. and not very well at that.
I just got done finalizing a recorded DVD from a VCR tape using the RCA
DRC8295n multi unit.

stuck the DVD in the computers DVD player Memorex double layer DVD 16+ /- DL
4RWD2. The format of the DVD shows it to be UDF [agghhh] I think I've found the
problem.

Anyway's, tried to play the DVD with windows media player, Nero show time, ATI
DVD, and Roxios media player.
All but the ATI got nowhere.
the 1st time the ATI showed the start menu button. Smacked that and away we go.
The button left it's black 4 pixel square 1 in. x 2 in. outline smack dab in
the middle of the screen. When I tried to mouse it again [outline] and move the
player it crashed. Last it played. It's now just a drink coaster.

I haven't seen the term UDF since the Roxio CD copier DirectCD ate the XP Pro
OS. I haven't stuck anything on the machine that uses UDF since.

And found this the other day, you can't install the Roxio DirectCD if you have
Nero's InCD4 installed, and vice versa. InCD4 can't be installed if DirectCD is
installed.

Anyone else have a fix for this ? The DVD was finalized. and menu said to
operate on most DVD players. Question how does RCA define the word 'most' ?
