Man are you gonna have some fun! I've prolly spent two dozen vacation there-some up two months when i had a problem with campers paperwork. The Germans were really snitty about it. The Dutch were so cool. They let me in the country even tho they knew my stuff was out of order. Told me no probs that I could hang til it was sorted out.

It's really weird walkin down the street tokin on a big honkin fat dube and the cops don't care. But there's lots of good stuff. Great street musicians, restaurants, museums. And soo many people from everywhere being freindly and partying. Be sure to check out the club called "the milky way" (milkweg in dutch i think). It's got about 4 or 5 sections: a live music/concert, a beer hall, a cocktail/dancing part and a hash bar. it rocks and is right across from a police station on a canal.

Don't buy anything off the street (too many rip off artists), go into the cofee shops for sure and ask for the "menu". Another thing, don't play any "street games" for money-there all crooked and don't ever get messed up and start trouble with the "working women". They're licened and protected by the cops. If some shiit happens you'll be amazed how many of those drunks loitering about are really undercover cops. But its cool, they're there for our own good. They like to keep the tourist safe. Man, its Disney world for adults!
