Is it possible to "beam" another PPC/Palm a file via bluetooth not infared?
People with Palm PDA are able to beam me files via bluetooth but I am unable
to return the favor. The only way I see possible is to go through BT
manager and create a new connection, which I was unsuccesful at doing. I am
using Pocket PC 2003. The Palm users seem to be able to just click and hold
select SEND and then choose a device. Is there a similar process to this
with PPC. In case you were wondering I just got my PPC 3 days ago.

You can send a file thru bluetooth in a few ways:
- open bluetooth manager, find a nearby bluetooth device, partner with it,
then tap and hold on the device icon and select there an option to send file
- other way requires you to buy a superior file manager called Resco File
Explorer 2003, which has a support for beaming files over bluetooth, where
you just tap and hold on a file and select to beam it over BT, then PDA
automatically scans for other devices, displays the list where you select
one and that is it.

I recommend Resco File Explorer 2003 not only for the file beaming features.
Go and take a look at it.
