Help! Is it normal for my PC to be running registry modifications
continually??? I have Ad-Aware, and Ad-watch; and my Ad-watch shows that
"Registry Modification" are being "detected" every second. There are at
least 3 per second while my PC is running. I don't even have to be connected
to the internet. I also have Norton installed to the hilt...I have had
problems with ad-ware; is this the same thing?? Someone please let me know,
I want to make sure I'm not getting hacked into. I'm 25, female, and worried
that that this thing is going to get out of control. Thanks for any help!!

Deep breaths.
As for what the edits are - you have to tell us that.. What entries are
being modified?

I wish Lavasoft Ad-Aware (even the full version) was enough. Get and
install Spybot Search and Destroy.. Update it, scan with it and immunize
with it. Also get SpywareBlaster and IE-SpyAd and immunize with those. You
should turn off "Ad-watch" while you do those things.. Otherwise it might
driver you batty.
