i have a netgear WG602 v2 Wireless access point and a
Kobian 802.11g PCI adaptor on a pc. i can configure
windows xp pro to connect to the wireless access point no
problems, but is there a way to make it automatically on
system startup? i want to join a domain but that's no
good without the network avaliable on startup.

Hi.
Network (Wired or Wireless) once installed is always On at startup.

You might configured something incorrectly.

If your Wireless came with a Utility try to configure with the utility.
