I will be traveling to the UK in the fall, and will be taking my iPAQ 3835
along. Is it possible to buy a European charger for a U.S. iPAQ? I don't
want to mess with a converter. The last one fried my Casio-125 charger in
Italy. Any information on places to buy or if it is even possible would be
appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jason

The iPAQ power adapter is rated for 110-240 V and 50-60 Hz so your good to go as far as power rating
is concerned. The only issue is physical plug adapters that may or may not be needed while your in
the UK..

If needed, check with Radio Shack or your local travel/luggage store, etc for the correct plug
adapter or a kit...

Will you be using a car on a regular basis while you are there? If you are
you could just acquire a car adapter if you don't already have one. I know
that my iPaq 5550 will last an entire day without needing to be recharged.

The US adapter is rated 110/220volts so coupled with the correct US-UK plug
converter you will be fine. Alternatively you could use a cigarette lighter
charger if you are planning to be in a car for any period.
