I've just made a backup of my whole IPAQ with the backup
function of Activesync.
Now I want te restore the backup.
After restoring, Acrivesync comes with the message that a
couple of files where not restored, because the files are
open on the device.
But it's about the whole PIM that he can't restore!
Contacts, appointments & tasks!
I've allready resetted my ipaq for several times and also
resetted the computer but that doesn't solve the problem.
Can anyone please give me some good advise?

If it is just the PIM, don't worry about it. All of your data is safe
in Outlook. When you first sync after the restore, your best option is
to delete all data on the device and pull everything back over from
Outlook.
