I have client machine which is a Compaq Evo N800v with the W200 wireless
module. On reboot the Wireless Zero Configiration Service fials to start.
This is arecent problem, everythng was OK, for months. If you start the
service manualy then everything works fine, with out the service running you
obviously have problems connecting to other networks etc.

The event log records events speific to:

The description for Event ID ( 1041 ) in Source ( MDC8021X ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be
able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and
Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .



If thats any help



I have google bashed the web and microsft and failed to find anything so
far.
