Is there a way to change file/folder ownership in windows XP home edition
without booting into safe mode to access the security tab?

Perhaps a small utility or command line program to do this?

You can install "FaJo XP File Security Extension" (XP FSE):

Hi I happen to install this tool, but i still cant open my text file....says access is denied...any idea what to do?
