Plucked up the courage to upgrade the ROM on my 2210.

Over the last year i've installed new drivers will they need to be
reinstalled or are they contained within ROm updrade?

Specifically

1) IPAQ Foldable keyboard v1.67

2) Pocket PC Bluetooth Driver - v1.4.1.58

3) Bluetooth Manager - v1.0

4) PC h2200 Series SDIO Driver Update v1.0

5) I seem to remember having to upgarde either Microsof Reader or
Avantgo when i initially got PocketPC.

Any help appreciated

Regards

This type of driver is not included in ROM, so you'll have to
install it again.

The new ROM contains Bluetooth updates compared to the old ROM,
so I wouldn't install older updates over that.

I see that the latest build of the 1.10 ROM is dated Apr 30, but
when I installed it, I still needed to apply the SDIO update
available through
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/ [...] /download/
20674.html . I don't know if this is still the case to be
honest.

See if these still work (for Reader: esp. with DRM protected
material). If not, you'd need to get the latest version. The
latest version of Reader is 2.2.3 if I'm not mistaken.

Hey,

AFAIK you will only need to install the SDIO update as this was released after the ROM upgrade, this is the only one I have done on my 2210 although I do not have an IPAQ keyboard so can not be certain about that one.

You will have updated MSReader and MSN Messenger in the past but both of these are the latest versions in the ROM upgrade.
