Panasonic webCam help!

hello and thanks right off for any help. I just got a Panasonic PV-GS15 digital Palmcorder multicam camcorder. I set up all the drivers including the web cam one and the computer reads the camera fine, i can Upload into the movie editor and can see the feed when i look at the camera in My Computer, but when i go into Windows messenger and try to set up a web cam it says "The camera you selected is not working properly, or may be in use by another program. Please click back to try again or to select a different camer." I am almost 100% positive i am not useing it in another program, unless there would be somthing in the background using it that i am unaware of, which wouldnt make sence. and there is no other camera to choose, and i have reinstalled the drivers many times, checked the Panasonic website for new ones (which there isnt), and im out ideas. Any help would be amazing, if you need anymore information just ask, thanks so much.
