RC better get it on the truck buddy, its was raining here all day and flurries of an on but our temps was just boarder line. Its heading your way and your temps are not boarderline they are cold and will produce the white stuff, soooo its sleding time. Load it tonight maybe..ha ha. Take plenty of pics to so people that dont have snow can see what it looks like. The season come sat. will officialy begine.
The man of steel said that
Man I hope so. Today's snow went all south of us out to the east coast.
Don't worry one little bit, my sled is ready. I fried it up earlier tonight just to warm it up. It's still got Stabol in the gas. Need to run a solid tank through it to clean it out.
Son's sled is another story. I hope he doesn't get caught with his pants down & miss the first ride. His shocks are gas, racing shocks. They need to be regassed & calibrated every year. So we've got them off his sled & they're in the shop!

I don't know why I'm up so late tonight, really. Ate like a pig a passed out early. Then woke up rarein to go. So I've been playing with the puter.

WE was post to get some today but just got flurries. temp just droped below freezing this afternoon , i am working by the river where its always windy and it felt really cold. we poured concrete and had to cover it all up with constuction blankets to keep it from freezing over the week end.
The man of steel said that
Man, that sounds like work to me. I was wondering if you were going to get rained out today.
What you doing up so late?
Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS!
Wish i could go with you it sounds like a lot of fun , dont know about that 100 mph stuff . I am more inclined for that 30 mph stuff.
Was surprised to see you up so late , i did the same thing though , after work me and wifey went out to eat ( buffet bar ) and i guess thats why i cant sleep.
The man of steel said that
I'm kind of bored. Wife has to work all weekend. She was working a lot of nights last week as well. SO I haven't seen her much, other than hall way sex. Got to find something to get into around here.
Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS!
I am sitting here drinking beer ( root beer ). Thought there might be action on here. I am sending back the OCZ memory cause they wont get 250 fsb, hope the next set they send will work better. I had 240 fsb on them and it was flying at that speed.
The man of steel said that
Yea, I read that you sent it back. That's a drag it wouldn't do the 250. You do run up the multiplier on stk. RAM timings, don't you?
Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS!
My wife retired , dont cook or nothing no more...ha ha. Never has worked other then the home which is a lot of work but now she retired from that...ha ha
The man of steel said that

LMAO I knew you didn't drink!
I'm not even drinking beer. Had enough earlier. Sitting around in the middle of the night drinking all alone, might look bad on me!
Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS!
Multiplier on P4 is locked , you have to take up the fsb. Not like AMD where you can jump up the multiplier. I can get 3200 easy on my 2500 , but i cant get the fsb past 190 on it. Even if i drop the multiplier.
The man of steel said that
How long do you stay up country , just a day or the whole week.
The man of steel said that
Other way around here. I got put out to pasture. Wife needs 10 years to retire. I'd like to get about 5 more years in somewhere, but I'm not looking hard. First of the year I may start up a small design thing, mitlupilating machinal drawings to ship into GM. I'm trying to get a seat nailed down for that. Been off 2 years now.
Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS!
I knew you would like the root beer thing. I ordered a refurbished PSU from new egg and sending it back also , it dont work. Hopeing they got one that works to send me. The P4 is a lot less noisy then the AMD and i wanted a quite PSU to go with it.
The man of steel said that
Thats why i dont retire yet , just not ready to. Guy down the road had to retire ( carpenter ) and hes about to go nuts. He wants me to retire so we can go fishing togeather. Thats about all he wants to do anymore. His wife works and he does the house work...ha ha , and she bitches about how he does it.

Usually we go up for as much as we can. Where we like to go it's 400 miles up. So it's a long drive & then if it's snowing.
We'll look for the closest snow on the web & head out. Lot's of times we pull out at like 3 to get where we want to ride, about day light. We'll load back up at dark & head home.
We go for our annual vacation the middle of Feb. for at least a week. We put on over 1,000 miles every year then.

Kind of funny he keeps buying old boats and fixes them up to sell but so fare he has not sold one and shes on him for it. i keep telling him hes a real go get her...takes her to work then goes gets her.....ha ha ha.

There you go, nailed it. I take care of the house, cook & watch the grand kids. I call it "Domestic Chores"

Bad part of it is my sons & the guys I ride with have got to work. I've got all the time in the world, but they haven't. So it limits are riding some.
I'll let you know (we'll you'll know because I won't be posting) when & where we go this year. We've got good sled maps online, so you can get an idea about it.
Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS!
On the week thing , i guess you stay in a motel or resort area huh. I got a 4 wheel atv and we take off on it all the time in the summer , the place we ride is about 3 hours from here. Its a lot of fun to so i would like the sled thing i think. My son in laws dad used to have sleds and they would take a week or to and go to Wis. Theres usually not enough snow here to ride them a lot. We had to pull one out of the lake one time though , his brother was screeming over the lake and the ice broke...ha ha. Lucky he made it close to the edge so we could get it out.

Ha ha you sure your not my neighbor in disguise. When i do go ill get me something to do a couple of days a week , maybe workin with my son or something.
Then go down to Florida for about 4 months or so. If we go down this winter again i think i will take my bass boat along instead of useing her brothers. Every time i use her brothers something breaks ( old boat ) and i feel bad about it and have it fixed. Plus i know mine better and always wanted to screem across that lake. Its weird cause its 35 miles across it and your only running in about 5 feet of water.
The man of steel said that
Your staying up late waiting for the fight to restart between scamtron and dh arent ya.
The man of steel said that
Oh, you'd like it. Up north it turns into sled world. You can & do drive them anywhere, the bar, store, restaurant, wherever. They'll have a 2 to 3 ft' base & the groomers are out day & night.
We stay in motels that sleep a bunch of people, usually. A lot of them are 1 room cabins.
On a days ride, we'll either get the sleds fired at the room or get them off the trailer just before daybreak. We pick a town about 50 miles away for lunch & take off. If the trails are beat to hell, or there's to much snirt, we might change to another trail. If it's fast that morning, we'll go farther to have lunch. BTW they feed you real good up there, Yum! Then we'll take off a different way & hit some other trails on the way back. We'll get back a tad after dark & put anywhere between 100 & 200 miles on, depending on the conditions.
After that it's party time. Beer drinking & going to the restaurant for a huge dinner. I've been so whipped at the restaurant at times that it's hard to eat!

We've got lakes that wide, but they're a hell of a lot deeper. Lake Eire is about the shallowest.

Hummm do they have any of them buffet things up there . thats what gets me....ha ha. we got a gambling boat here ( 4 of them ) and they have crab legs on friday nights. I make a pig of myself on them. and great big jumbo shrimp to.They more then likely hate to see me come because i dont gamble but the wife will drop a 20 sometimes. The only thing is there about a hour drive from here but every place is about a hour drive from here...ha ha
The man of steel said that
We went down to the keys last winter. Where we stayed its real shallow with deep runs to travel the boats. I walked all the way out to an island could not believe it. The water is crystal clear and no waves cause theres a reef all the way around the keys that breaks the waves up. Like a big swimming pool.
The man of steel said that
Oh yea, they all have buffet's!
Up in Munising we go to the Dog Patch Bar every morning for there's. They've got it all. Slab ham, bacon, sausage, you name it. Like I say it's sled heaven up there. Speed = hunger & thirst! They figured that one out awhile ago. Friday nights up there they usually have fresh caught fish out of the lakes. I about eat myself crazy!
There's some sled stories that float about me & the buffet's!

Okeechobee is a big lake but shallow, got weeds growing up all over it ( on edges ) but thats what makes it so good for fishin. You ever hear of crappie , we was catchin them up to 4.8 lbs. , thats a big crappie. got a lot of gattors there to , dont wanna go swimming there...ha ha. A 15 lb. bass is not that big there.
The man of steel said that
Think i am heading for bed, i will catch ya latter RC. Good luck on a lot of snow.

I did last winter lake racing! That's one of the stories. Went in this little bar in the middle of nowhere. They had a sea food Buffet laid out that was fantastic. All the fish were fresh caught & they had snow crab legs (I don't like them much) & steamed shrimp. Well shrimp is about my favorite food. I've ate them until I've almost busted before.
I fill up a huge plate of them. Wolf them down & get another one just like it & then another. I'm just getting in a good stride & the shrimp ran out. So I made a small salad to nibble while I waited for more. By now my son & Greg (235 ponder) were finished. Out came another pan of them & off I went. ate that plate of them & went back again. I got what was there, another plate! So then the shrimp didn't get filled & didn't get filled. Lady at the next table asked if there was more shrimp & he said they had gotten eaten out of them!!! The whole table busted up. They knew who had pigged out on all them shrimp!!

Hows it going guys? What ya'll doing up so late! Just got through diagnosing a friends computer problem myself, he's got a fried hardrive never seen this exact problem before, but theres no recovering his files, they're gone, and the sad thing about it is they had pictures of the new grandbaby, and are the proud owners of a CDRW but never thought about backing up their files, what a shame.

She's doing great, back at work and got her strength back, man that laproscopic surgery is definitely the way to go.
*****Missster Anderson!,,,Welcome Back!*****
Well they'll be backing up after this one, I tried everything in the book to recover their files, but its like the hardrives invisible, they can have a recovery company recover the files for them, but it'll probably cost them a couple hundred dollars.
*****Missster Anderson!,,,Welcome Back!*****
Really glad to hear that. Had a friend who just got his knees replaced mon. and come home today. I will go over there tomorrow to raz him some. Now i am heading to bed
