Is there any tool I can use to save video streams being
played by Media Player?

I know one program. "Media Player DVD Maker" records
video/audio being played by Media Player or internet
explorer as WMV file and then later convert it into DVD,
if you have DVD burner. Check it out at www.prodvd.net
