Is there any simple way to save my finished projects in
DivX format (mpeg4) or for SVCD (avi) wiht a reasonable
compression.

You have your format confused. DivX is an MPEG-4 based codec generally in
an AVI container. SVCD is MPEG-2. The answer for both is direct from MM,
no. But check out PapaJohn's site for information on your choices. -
