COD problem

Whenever I use the "down the barrel" or zoom for a weopon in call of duty, it chatters/shudders on the way up and down. I'm runnning Win XP pro SP1 with DX 9b, 9800 pro, 1 gig dual channel DDR ram and a 2700 XP chip on a A7N8X MoBo. Now I'm sure this didn't happen with my Ti 4200..but i cant be sure now and it's bugging the hell out of me.

what driver version are u using? cat 3.9 or 3.10 had a crashing issue with CoD while no the same thing as yur prob it may still be driver related, Im using virtually the same rig as u with no prbs, im running the cat 4.1 drivers, give them a shot

Thanks Mate, I thought I had given the 4.1's a shot but I can't remember. I'll try them and the 4.2's and see what happens.

If your problems persist, I would advice you to check out the catalyst 3.7. I know it sounds weird to use such old drivers, but I had kind of the same problems, and I found several posts in different forums advertising the catalyst 3.7 for COD. Works for me

I had no problem finishing COD several times with Catalyst 3.9
