If you click on the "file" button on the taskbar of the Window Media Player, at the bottom there is a history of video files viewed. For security reasons...is there a way to clear that list?
Thanks

>You need to download a program like "Window Washer" or
similiar. Some are trial versions that expire shortly. I
purchased my "Window Washer" at the store for $40. It is
well worth it. It cleans out history bars and lots of
other things. You also have preferences that you can
choose to just clean certain items and leave others alone.

I have Windows Media Player (version 9?) on my new PC
running Windows XP Home. On WMP, look for the Edit
Playlist option (perhaps under File?). On the edit screen
you'll see the video and other files currently in the play
list. There's the big red X in the task bar for deleting
them. Sorry I can't give you specific paths and names,
but I'm at work right now.
