Media Player won't start

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.video (More info?)

Nothing happens when I try to run Media Player. I have
version 8.0.0.4490 and Winamp is my default player for
audio and video. Any ideas?

Have you tried upgrading to v9?
