2215 and Pocket Top keyboard

I uninstalled Pocket Top from my 2215 via active sync 3.7 and all looked
good. I tried to reinstall it but I now receive the alert "Keyboard driver
in use or in system memory reset and try again".

I do that and still get the same alert.

Yes, I did a soft reset, made sure there were no apparent remnants of Pocket
Top on PPC or PC and reloaded the PT software on the PC anew.

Suggestions?
