i was looking to buy a digital or analogue camcorder so i could shoot and edit film on my pc.(preferably digital)
my pc has more than the minimum required.
win xp home
3.0 gig p4
80g hd
512 ram
128 nvidia gforce
however reading the windows 'how to movie maker' it says i need either a ieee394 port/firewire or an analogue capture card for non digital camcorder (i have neither) to load onto my pc. is there any alternative to this??? usb 2.0 maybe?
i dont want to change whats inside the box and im being put off buying a camcorder.

id appreciate any ideas.

Purchase a PCI card with IEEE1394 ports.... about $20.
