Hi all, Im using a pocketpc 2003 and trying to connect to my work vpn with
it. I have got to the stage where I can connect to the vpn, it accepts my
user/pass and allocates me an IP of 192.168.x.x and allocated me the DNS
servers and WINS hosts.
If I scan the 192.168 subnet I can see other users also connected to the vpn
and ping them successfully.
I cannot however ping/telnet/ftp to any other IP ranges such as 10.3.x.x,
but when I VPN in via my PC I can talk to these hosts.
Has anyone had simililar problems or have any suggestions?

Thanks

I had this problem. I connected to my workplace with my PDA (Pocket pc 2003)
and my SE T68i (bluetooth). I could also connect to my workplace with my VPN
but to get it to work i had to manually put my DNS servers in to the VPN
settings on the PDA, and add the internal servers to the exception list.
After doing this it worked very fine. I can use a terminal server on my
network now. Cool

That is because the PPC sees those as internet addresses and unless
you have "this network connects to the internet" *AND* your proxy
server settings correct, you won't be able to do this via a VPN on the
PPC.
