Need Help Understanding Clariion Concepts

In most storage systems I have used, one creates an array of disks,
specifying the RAID level from 0 through 1+0. Then, inside the array, you
can configure one or more logical volumes, each of which can be exposed to
different host(s).

Does Clariion do things in a signficantly different way, and if so how? Is
the answer different between the FC4500/FC4700 and the CX-series storage
systems?

I need a storage system that can build an array from at least 30 disks in a
RAID 1+0 configuration, and then create multiple logical volumes on that
array, each mapped to a different host. What are the limitations for
FC4500/FC4700/CX200/CX400/CX600 on the number of drives that can reside in a
single RAID 1+0 array?
