When I go to capture with my dv cam it says its there. The suttle works on the cam but
when I go to record there is no preview and when I click finish it say divice not located or corrupted files.

What is a 'suttle'?

Is the digital camcorder connected via firewire, turned on in VCR mode and
running off A/C power (and NOT it's own battery)?
