How can I enable "DVD, VCD or CD Audio" in the Media
Player -> Play Menu.

At present it shows up as disabled and hence I can not
play any DVD or CD. I can not see the contents of any CD
or DVD.

Device Manager trouble shooter has reported that the
device is working properly.

Thanks in anticipation.
