Just saw the review on storagereview and i ordered one, says its the
best fastest ect.

Though it was an IBM design and well iam wishing it wont die on me,
was going for segate as my segate is chuging alone for ages no prob at
all, i guess ill use that as a backup for important stuff and the new
drive for games ect for the speed.

Thanks for any info.

Iam getting the 160 gig version SATA.

Kind of late to ask for info if you already ordered one.
I wouldn't trust them. Fool me once, etc.

Its got a 3 year warranty :), if it does die would be sooner rather
than later, and 3 years would have another one anyway :)

I still think life's too short to screw around with IBM drives.

But good luck with it.

Actually for people that don't like the "Meooooooow" you can complain to
the support at hitachigst and they will send you a new firmware that
help reduce the noises generated when the idle time sweep functions are
triggered in the drive (aka Meoooooow noise).
