player does not show last 20seconds of video

I have Bearshare(full version) and I download alot of videos. The majority of the videos play fine in the Bearshare platform, but if I open the videos directly the Window Media Player will play the video and even run the entire file through, but at the last 20seconds, the display goes black. Most of the time you can even still hear the audio. I don't understand how it can play the beginning of the video fine and then cut off. This does not pertain to a perticular type of file or genre, but everything I have. Things I have not downloaded through Bearshare do it too!!! I have installed every plugin I can think of or find that is relevent and I am fully updated on XP Pro with a fully updated WMP 9.0 Please help, I don't know what else to do.
