I have recently installed windows XP pro sp1a and my
friend had installed sp2. now the problem is that he gets
the windows media player toolbar when he r clicks on the
taskbar its a small cute looking wmp skin I suppose with
a small screen. But when I try I dont get that option.
Pls help. Is it only with sp2 and not sp1a.

Hi Trushar
The Media Player toolbar is part of Windows Media Player 9. While you would
get the toolbar as part of Service Pack 2 (because Media Player 9 is
included in it) you don't specifically need to install the service pack to
get the toolbar.

Player 9 installed now how do I get that small player on
the taskbar enabled. I've tried a lot. Could yo explain
how to enable it in detail. Thanks

Okay, right click on an empty area of the taskbar, select toolbars and make
sure 'Windows Media Player' has a check next to it. Then start Media Player
9 and minimise it, once the program has been minimised the toolbar player
should appear.
