wmv URL - ok from WMP - not from Pocket IE

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.pocketpc (More info?)

I can play a .wmv http URL if I open it directly from Windows Media
Player 8.5
on my PocketPC -- but if I try it in Pocket IE, it downloads it as
text in the browser.

wmv is associated to WMP... Is there a special way to associate a URL
file extension? I do see special URL associations, when I look at the
existing associations in PocketTweak.
