Good Morning Everyone,

I have a Dell Dim 2400 workstation with a Dell 18" Flat Panel. The
pc/monitor was purchased this year. Two days ago, while the user was
reading email, the monitor died. Dell sent me another 18" monitor, it looks
like it's a different model than the one I had initially.

Well I installed the driver for the new monitor and checked that the driver
for the Intel display adapter was current. I'm having font display problems.
Icons on the desktop looks ok and pictures look ok, but when I go into an
Office Application or when I'm browsing the internet, words/fonts look very
faint. It's not displaying clearly on the screen. I went into the effects
display properties and tried different settings of the smooth edges of
screen fonts but it still doesn't fix the problem.
I can see the actual letters/characters/words display on the screen but it's
fuzzy.

Desktop icons look ok and pictures look ok, but fonts/words/characters don't
display properly.
Can someone advise? Thanks!

Anthony Smith
