I have tried to record using the mic socket (usingprorgames like sound
recorder, aocustica mp3 mixer) with analogue cables and microphones but
it isnt picking anything up

However it does record any sound thats coming out of the computer

e.g if i am playing an mp3 then click "record" on one of the recording
prorgammes it will start recording the song.

I have tried going into controlpanel>sounds and audio devices>voice
tab> test hardware but it brings up these error messages:

If those didnt work (usually geocities doesnt directly link) the url
is
http://tinyurl.com/23gf3

anyone know what to do?
thanks
