eVC 4 is supported only for version 4.x of the Windows CE operating
system. Pocket PC 2002 is based on version 3.0 of the operating
system. It is _possible_ to build apps using eVC 4 that will run under
Pocket PC 2002, but not easy (requires manually changing compiler
setting _and_ avoiding any functions that might be found in 4.x, but
not 3.x). And I _think_ that means using the Pocket PC 2003 SDK.
I recommend getting eVC 3 and the Pocket PC 2002 SDK. You can
definitely run eVC 4 and eVC 3 on the same computer (many of us do).
You _may_ need to uninstall eVC 4, install eVC 3, reinstall eVC 4.
And/or you may need to tweak a bit, if one installation mangles the
other; I've seen reports, but had no _memorable_ problems myself
(although I'm so used to glitches I tend to forget most).
I just used google (http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search) to

and/or refine the search string to get useful info. But I'm quite sure
