Having trouble with the 1394 Net Adapter device not being able to start
and my DV cams no longer work. The cameras are recognized but do not
work. Tried uninstalling 1394 device drivers and reinstalling,
reconnecting devices, rerunning Net Config Wizard, disabling other
devices, and a whole host of other stuff.
Everything work fine until my ethernet card went and my Network
configuration went haywire (duplicate names on network and all sorts of
other bizarre problems). Installed new card and got everything else
working but Firewire devices are screwed.

Try unistalling firewire card. Remove card and reboot pc. Replace card in a
different slot and connect cam and turn cam on ready, reboot pc and let it
find drivers.
