Seagate Seatools question

I've used the Samsung equiv which lets you turn on / off the quiet setting

(cant rememeber the exact term for it at the moment)

does seatools allow this ?

if not , can anyone advise on which piece of seagate software i would need ?

AAM, acoustic something management

When I wanted to play with AAM on my Seagate, I had to download a
separate utility, seaaam.zip. But acoustic management is not present on
the Barracuda 7200.7 series. Don't know about the 7200.8.

i ask becasue with my samsung i didnt realise i had AAM off so it was
relatively noisy
changed the settingand - oooohhh ,isn't it quiet !

so i guess seagate is quiet by default
