how do I burn home videos on my Sony handicam using Windows Movie Maker onto CD-R so I can play them on my VCD player?
I tried burning them in .avi, .wmm and .mpeg formats using the 'Firewire' cable. They run fine on the PC. On the VCD player ( compatible with CD-Rs ) I get the message ' No audio or video file '. What do I do ?

You use third party burning software and burn as a VCD. Roxio, Nero, Sonic
MyDVD.... or VCDEasy will do the trick.

RajeshN: I burnt the movie using 'Arcsoft Showbiz 2'. Now my player reads the disc. But I get no sound or picture; just blank black screen on the TV. The settings for NTSC/PAL are on 'AUTO'. The disc has been burnt in MPEG-1 format which my player is compatible with. Any help?
