Help in Movie Maker

Did Movie Maker work in display mode "Primary Surface" Or need "Overlay surface to work ??

My problem is the following: I have a capture card who work either in the both display modes "Primary and Overlay surface"and was working perfectly in Overlay. Recently I was obliged to change my motherboard and have now as VGA Card the S3 GRAPHIC PRO SAVAGE DDR Built in. I can no more configure my capture card to work in Overlay surface mode I receive black screen Preview .And I have problem to preview in recording mode using the Tv tuner of my capture card in Movie Maker .By the way if I go recording from my Webcam in Movie Maker it works well and preview is ok.

-Processor AMD Athlon,MMX,3D, 1.3 Ghz
-DirectX 9
-VGA Card S3 Graphic Pro Savage DDR-32 Mb
-Capture Card "KWORLD" TV Tuner & Video Capture Card
