Hi..I bought a DVD RW yseterday and set it up fine. I
went to play a DVD to test it and got a message saying my
regional setting didn't allow the disc to be played. I
checked the setting and saw the region not selected. I
scrolled to the United States and clicked and nothing
happened. It didn't take. I did it again and now I'm
down to 2 region changes before I can't change it again.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? Chances are is that
I'll never need to change the region once it's set, but
I'd like to have the option.

Thanks!

You are only allowed five (5) region changes before you will have to send
the DVD drive to the manufacturer for re-setting.

I believe there is software that can get around this - do a Google search
for "Region Free" or "DVD Region Free"

Hi,

I have a code that opens a dvd player so you can reset it
to '0' so it plays all regions but dont know how to enter
it into the comp. If youd like the code email me.
