Hi,
I'm perfoming live visuals in clubs with ArKaos VJ. It can read a lot of
movies formats simultaneously, display input devices (camera, acquisition
board) and provides a lot of effect you can control in realtime. For those
who don't know, try it, it's very efficient, easy and exciting !!
My question is: some movies I can read with BSPlayer cannot be played by
ArKaos, MPEG or some AVI. I don't know a lot about it since I was using
QuickTime movies in the past. I tried to open these movies in Windows Media
Player and it doesn't playback too, except for some MPEG files. Some can be
converted with Virtual Dub.
Two questions:
- how can BSPlayer read it if WMP can't ??
- which format would you advice me to have a fast decompression and high
quality with resolution 640x480 / 32 bits colors ?? I need fast
decompression because sometimes I play multiple movies at the same time...
Thanks for your help
PS: If you don't know ArKaos VJ, try it, it's the best video soft I know:
