Stream Video Problem

I have used WMP for a long time now with no problems... I
downloaded a few Codec's but I could still stream video
no problems... until recently.

For some reason I can no longer stream any video from the
internet... WMP crashes immediately after I try and open
the stream. Very frustrating. I have tried to perform
system restore to no avail.

Any input is appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem when I try any streams
from the G4techtv.com web site all it does is open
windows media (10 beta) and it shows me if i wana send
the error report becuase MP crashes it doesnt even get
passed connecting - every thing i tried has not worked i
have tried most other WMPs version and no luck they work
with other players if i type the adresses manualy but
thats a pain and most internet sites are equiped with the
WMP launching automaticly with streams i have the
complete error report but it is rather long if you
request it ill glady give it to you becuase i want to get
over this dellema asap
