This is really wierd. I've had it installed in the past,
but temporarily uninstalled it a while back to save on
some memory. Just installed it again and for some reason
it will not list itself in the assign a program list so I
can assign a button to it sheesh I can't even use it
without assigning it a button. Anyone know what is up
with this? It says voice command is ready, but cannot
assign it a button doggonit help.

By default Voice Command install assigns the program to the Calendar button.
While a program is assigned to a button it'll not show up in the list. You
have to assign another program to the Calendar button to have Voice Command
on the list again.
Have you checked the other buttons to see if this is not happening now?

Yes I have. Although I didn't know that about the
default setup, I still (in case it did install similar to
that) hit all the buttons to see if it would work, but it
didn't. The defaults of windows mobile was there, ..ie
I hit the calendar button, the calendar came up...and so
on. I remember a while back I put a checkmark (or
something like that) somewhere to keep my device from
coming on when I pushed one of those buttons. Do you
think that that could be the problem? If so, how do I
get back in there and reverse it I have literally
forgotten how to do that as it has been too darn long?
Thank you sooo much for your help.

Well, I found out what the problem was. I was sifting
through a bunch of other messages and saw something about
Battery Pack Pro causing problems with button assignments
and thought to myself hmmmm.... I uninstalled BBP and
the problem dissapeared. Obviously BPP is causing some
problems somewhere. Good thing I have an older version
of BP.
